Our committee

Hackney City Tennis Clubs is a company limited by guarantee. Anyone who is an adult player, parent or supporter can become a member of HCTC.

In the event of HCTC being wound up - something we hope is very unlikely - each member guarantees to contribute £1.

HCTC is run by a management committee made up of elected members. It is elected each year at an annual general meeting which is open to all members.

Any member can stand to join the committee and we are keen to have a committed and active committee of talents that is representative of the different groups of people involved in tennis in Hackney.

The committee usually meets bi-monthly.

As well as a Management Committee, we have formally appointed Directors of the company who act in the role of Trustees. At this time they are Graham Robson, Angela Sheeran and Mark Roe.

We are currently making an application to be registered as a Community Amateur Sports Club which will give us a status equivalent to that of a charity.
